100% Funded Digital Marketing Training

Harrogate Businesses Can Get Up to 100% Funded Digital Marketing Training

Running a business in Harrogate and want to attract more customers online? A practical digital marketing bootcamp is coming to the town this September – and eligible businesses can receive up to 100% funding.

Whether you run a shop, restaurant, professional service, start-up or work for yourself, knowing how to reach the right people online has become an increasingly important part of doing business.

The Immediate Impact Digital Skills Bootcamp aims to make that easier, with eight days of face-to-face training covering everything from Google and social media to video, email marketing and online advertising.

What could you learn?

This isn’t just about sitting through presentations. The programme is designed to give business owners, freelancers and marketers practical skills they can take away and use.

You’ll explore how to:

  • Find and understand your ideal customers
  • See what your competitors are doing online
  • Build a brand people recognise and remember
  • Get more from Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Improve your Google Business Profile
  • Create engaging social media content
  • Produce effective videos and graphics
  • Use Canva to create marketing materials
  • Build stronger email marketing campaigns
  • Understand paid digital advertising

The idea is simple: learn something useful, take it back to your business and start putting it into action.

Could your Harrogate business get the training free?

Potentially.

The programme is funded through York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority Skills Bootcamps and delivered by Enterprise Made Simple.

Eligible sole traders can receive 100% funding, while eligible limited companies and charities can receive 90% funding.

That could make the programme particularly attractive to smaller Harrogate businesses that want to improve their digital marketing without committing a large training budget.

Another advantage is that you won’t need to travel to Leeds, York or further afield to take part.

The sessions will be held at Harrogate Community House on East Parade.

Why could it be worth taking part?

Think about how your customers find businesses today.

They might discover you through a Google search, see one of your Instagram posts, watch a video, read an email or check your reviews and Google Business Profile before deciding whether to contact you.

For a small local business, improving each of those areas could make a real difference.

And because the eight training days are spread across September and October, there is an opportunity to try out what you’ve learned between sessions, rather than attempting to absorb everything in one intensive week.

A useful opportunity for Harrogate’s independent businesses

Harrogate has a huge variety of independent shops, hospitality businesses, trades, professional services and self-employed people competing for attention – both locally and online.

The Harrogate Digital Skills Bootcamp offers an opportunity to sharpen those skills, discover new marketing ideas and learn how to turn more online activity into real customers.

The first session is on Friday 11 September 2026, so businesses interested in joining the programme should check their eligibility and availability soon.
