Harrogate crime: Police appeal after ‘derogatory graffiti’ sprayed on van in early-hours vandalism
Police have launched an urgent appeal after a van was targeted in an early-hours vandalism incident in Harrogate.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police say a suspect spray-painted a derogatory word onto a parked vehicle on Nesfield Close at around 2:26am on Monday, 6 April 2026.
The offender was seen approaching the area from Stonebeck Avenue before carrying out the damage and leaving the scene.
Police appeal for witnesses and CCTV in Harrogate
Investigators are urging residents in the Nesfield Close and Stonebeck Avenue area to check CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage from the time of the incident.
Even minor details could prove crucial in identifying the suspect.
