Have you seen this man? Police appeal to find suspect wanted after Knaresborough assault

North Yorkshire Police are asking for the public’s help to trace a man wanted in connection with an assault in Knaresborough.

Officers are searching for 32-year-old Ethan Wells-Smith, who is believed to be in the Harrogate area and also has links to Boroughbridge.

Despite extensive enquiries, police have so far been unable to locate him and are now urging residents to stay alert and report any sightings.

Ethan Wells-Smith is described as:

• White
• Brown hair
• Blue eyes

Police appeal

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said:

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate Wells-Smith and we are now appealing for your help to find him.”
