Harrogate assault: man suffers head injury after attack by four males on Fairfax Avenue

A man has been left with a head injury after being assaulted by four males in Harrogate, as police launch an urgent investigation and appeal for witnesses.

Officers from North Yorkshire Police say the incident happened at around 8.30am on Wednesday, 15 April, on Fairfax Avenue in Harrogate. The victim was attacked by a group of four males before they fled the scene.

The suspects were last seen running in the direction of Tyson Place, and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the Harrogate assault, or who may have captured footage on CCTV, doorbell cameras or dash cams, to come forward as soon as possible.

A spokesperson said: “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has information about the incident or who can help identify the four males involved.”

Residents in the Fairfax Avenue and Tyson Place areas are being asked to check any footage recorded around the time of the attack.
