Reeth Show 2026 Promises a Brilliant August Bank Holiday Day Out

Looking for a memorable family day out in the Yorkshire Dales? The 112th Reeth Show returns to beautiful Swaledale on Monday 31 August 2026, bringing together animals, fell racing, vintage vehicles and traditional countryside entertainment.

Follow the brass band

The day begins with Reeth Brass Band leading the Show Committee and judges through the village to the showground. The band will then entertain visitors throughout the day, creating the perfect soundtrack to this much-loved Dales tradition.

Watch the Great Fremington Edge Fell Race

One of the day’s most exciting attractions is the Great Fremington Edge Fell Race. Watch competitors tackle the steep hillside overlooking the showground as spectators cheer them towards the finish.

Part of the British Open Fell Runners Association calendar, the event includes races for several classes and a special prize for anyone who breaks the course record.
